    • check to see if you have a Trolling motor circuit breaker that might have tripped !!!! it would look like this !!!!

My Terrova remote uses 3 AA. With nothing from new batteries - call MK first thing. Best I can do. HTH YMMV

Circuit breaker has no effect on the remote - only the motor.

This old but worth a try.

Jason Halfen - "Page 33 on iPilot User Manual" (Thanks Jason)

    Remote.Learning
The i-Pilot remote is prelearned to the controller from the factory. The top of
the controller has a single learn button to allow additional remotes to be added
to the system. To learn additional remotes:
    1. Power up the trolling motor.
    2. Push and hold the learn button down. a steady audio tone will be heard
    while holding this button.
    3. While holding the learn button down push any button on the remote
being programmed. Three beeps will be heard when the remote is
    successfully learned.
a remote can only be learned to one controller at a time. a controller can have
an unlimited number of remotes learned to it. during the learn process, the
remote must start out in the off condition. If necessary, the remote can be
turned off by pressing and holding the Pause button for three seconds.

The problem is the remote won’t power on.

This was my problem. Take the cover off. Make sure the batteries are good. Low odds the ones you put in there were bad but it is possible. Then make sure they are in correct. There is a diagram under the batteries. Keep pushing the metal clips around and rolling the batteries while testing if it'll cut on with battery cover off.
