Default Anyone have insight on GT54UHDTM and GT56UHDTM differences?

I see Garmin in releasing the GT56UHDTM soon and I'm ready to buy a unit. Can anyone explain the differences that I can expect to see?

First off, I have a 93 sv non UHD with the CV52 transducer. The GT56 is a brand new, the GT54 has been out for a few months.

This post is from a guy who knows about both transducers. Leonard & Todd - Page 2

And here are some GT56 screenshots from the same guy. Leonard & Todd

Basically 20% further range in the highest frequency. Cover more area when side scanning. Recently Bird went from Mega to Mega + and I see this as a similar move.

FYI gpscity.com now has the 93 UHD with Gt54 for < $900. Great unit for that price. Other discounts may be coming plus who knows with black Friday.
