    Yes, but only the smaller stuff; #10 and larger I generally use the crimp tool. Heatshrink always.

    I solder when practical. I use a kline hand crimp tool on #10 gauge and less when necessary or practical.. I use a hammer crimp tool on the big stuff, #8 and larger csa stuff.
