    Arrow Helix 9 G3N Update?!?

Upon registering a brand new unit today I saw where you should check your unit and if it isn't carrying the newest Update then you should upload it. My question is (since I don't have the unit ready to power on yet)............shouldn't the newest G3N units already be updated to the latest version since that particular version (v.2.180) was introduced 12/19/2019? This version appears to be adding MEGA 360 to the unit? Is this something that might not already be in my unit but something I'd want to get now before learning how to work what the new unit already has?!?

Stock software version will depend on how long that specific unit sat on a shelf ...

Check your current version in the unit by making System Status view visible under the views tab ... then exit out of the menu and cycle thru the displayed views until getting to the System Status view ...

If you’re not using MEGA 360, and the version in the unit is not current - there’s no need to update (unless your unit is not functioning correctly with gremlins) ...

Thanks Rickie. I sorta want to get a bit used to the new unit before adding anymore to it. I'll update it later on if it's working properly as is.

If getting a new unit, I always run it a while before doing an update .... unless I absolutely need the update for compatability.

That way, when you do the update you can recognize if something changed with the update.
