Well I went out today to test the new 2.41 update for my Garmin Livescope. First I reset defaults on my 2.20 update and went and spot locked on a huge brushpile. Took a whole bunch of screenshots in amber, green and blue using default settings. Then adjusted gain for each color. Took screenshots of all. Then I cast out a cork with a 1/8 oz weight at 8' and a 1/16 oz jig at 10'. Took screenshots at 35, 30, 25, 20, and 15 feet using all 3 colors. Could hardly ever find my jig in the 20 to 30 foot range.

I then installed the 2.41 software, reset defaults and repeated above procedures. Overall picture quality about the same, maybe a little better but I could see my jig at 35 feet all the way back to the boat. Huge improvement, very little to no dead zone and the starburst array in versions 2.30 and 2.33 is greatly reduced. I took a ton of screenshots, I'll only post a few of 2.41. In my opinion I like it!Name: 12MAY20_1012_00_LI.jpg
