    Roy
The last 3 livescope pictures look clearest to me.
    Are those 2.41?

    Thanks

Tried out the 2.41 today and overall I’m satisfied with it. No dead zone and no problem seeing my jig. The gain setting is more like it was when I first starting using it. The gain setting with 2.33 was in the 50’s back in the 60’s now2.41 upate. Thanks Roy for sharing the pictures and your thoughts about it!!!

Do y'all think 2.41 is better than 2.10?

i fished with 2.41 yesterday and still have a dead zone. The dead zone looks like it is where the ghost tree used to be 10-15 feet out right where my 13ft jigging pole reaches. played with gain, tvg, noise nothing seemed to help. when casting I could see my jig most of the way but very noticeable vertical jigging. with that said still caught some nice fish.

I had a small area yesterday where my returns were weak but overall I'm pleased with 2.41. Looks like some Garmin units are still having issues. May be hardware more than software.

    • Try these settings with your update, Info direct from Garmin:

      • Factory reset sonar defaults
      • Factory reset the Chartplotter/s in the network (to make things easier, please simplify the network, just one chartplotter and the live scope system if possible)
      • Unplug the GLS 10 from power for at least 10 mins (Power cycle)

    • Gain – set to auto medium
    • TVG- set to off
    • Noise reject- Set to medium
    • Color gain – Set to Default
    • AHRS- Set to on and compass is calibrated
    • Forward Range- Set to 30-40 ft (please not lower than 30 ft forward, we are comparing customers images to images we are testing)

I have the same thing with 2.10. seems like mine is related to bottom hardness. 12-16ft with a hard bottom I have a bad dead zone in the area the ghost tree would be, the crazy part is I was in a buddy's boat and he had great images in the same location.
