I would not. Had some issues after the perspective update. Even after the last update still quite not the same. I don’t really use perspective so that’s just my opinion. I’m going to start using it more though. Time will tell.
Perspective question, for those who updated it. Would you do it again with what you know now. Have read a lot of reports about trouble after the update and also have seen good reports. Could the delayed release on the bracket be because garmin is aware of the problems, it should not take this long to made a bracket. Don't want create a problem with my unit. Thanks for any info

Mine looks the same as it ever did after GLS10 2.33 installed. I have not used the P mode yet, as I'm waiting on a mount.

Like to hear some specifics on the problems after the upgrade.

The fishing is always great. The catching varies.
I have only been using the perspective mode on the last few outings but have been reading the post about the issues. Used forward view today on my 93sv and didn't see the anything different than before the update. I did my update via the memory card and not through active captain.
Read any of my post along with screenshots. Wish Me a never done the update. Garmin knows it is an issue and working on anowfix.
Starburst effect after update, cannot be adjusted out without losing your bait, fish, and even brush.
Dead spots on my I it contravenes a bad transducer or black box of software.
Don't do tbeupdate!

I rolled my update back to 2.20 why to much clutter in the 2.33 version and had what is called a ghost effect jig and fish would disappear in the 10-20ft forward range. Here is two screen shots the first is 2.33 and the second is after I rolled it back to 2.20. I would not do the update until Garmin works it out.

Anyone having problems after using Active Captain to download?
How 'bout after using the SD card?
Both methods having problems?
Wondering if there is a difference between the two download methods, possible problem in one of the methods. I have it downloaded on SD card but not installed yet.
Other deal is, Perspective Mode is not the only thing in the download, it is a software update and other things/issues are addressed/changed also. There are 65 files on my SD card. Sometimes a fix here causes issues over there. Lotta possibilities.

I’ve used both methods with the same results. I would not do the update if you haven’t already.

There is no difference in the update method, card or AC. Even with AC, the image is downloaded to the AC SD card before the mem is flashed. The image file contains signatures and other safeguards like CRCs to make sure there is no data loss or corruption before flashing.
