I think it appears when you select AHRS and calibrate the compass.
I was hoping that someone could tell me how to get the little boat icon that displays the direction the transducer is shooting on the top right corner of the screen to show on my echomap plus 93sv. Is this unit have this particular feature? I could not seem to find anything in the owners manual. Any help would be great.

Look in the Livescope installation papers that came with the module and transducer and there is instructions on calibrating the compass.
Ok i will Try that. If it does start to show up and I want to, can I have that removed from the screen? Thanks

You can always return it back to factory settings.
Actually, in a very short time you do not even notice it.

Just re-do the cal procedure, and quit it before completing the procedure - it will go away. I never calibrated mine - don't need it.
The AHRS is for detecting which mode you are in, Forward or Down, without going into the menu manually. I am always in forward, so I turn AHRS off and set it manually to Forward. HTH
