    Default Boat Project

Tomorrow the last item arrives, Helix 10 Mega DI G3N. I have everything ready to go for the new installs. Except one very important item - the boat.

Ughh. It has been with Lowe for 5 weeks getting warranty work done. I sure hope it will be ready so I can get it rigged and on the water at least once before I have shoulder surgery on 3/13 and then spend 4-6 weeks in a sling.

Not complaining, just patiently waiting. God is good.

Another week gone- was told it would be completed this past week and now it will be next week. So much for fishing this weekend.

That stinks. At least all the installs will be organized and operating manuals read.

Picked up my boat from Lowe on Wednesday night and made some progress getting the new stuff installed. With the shoulder surgery today I will have to wait a few weeks to finish up. I still need to mount the LiveScope TD pole, heading sensor for the Ultrex and put the batteries in the boat. I added a small battery up from, charter and fuze box to power the LS, front Helix and heading sensor.

I like using rod socks over the cables to help manage them

Nice. You will like having a dedicated battery. That cornfield mount looks great. What is the price on it?
