Default Transom Mounting new si ducer already have di ducer

I’m pretty sure Charlie answered this question for me but I can’t find the answer in search I just got a new helix 9 MSI G3N And need to know where I should mount the transducer as this unit will be at my console where I already have a helix 7 DI. Which needs to be higher than the other. I’m limited in space. Will attach pictures tomorrow of what’s mounted now.

Pictures would help, not sure if your boat is a step hull design or not. I would try to mount the ducers on the opposite side of the motor if at all possible. If not I would say the DI could be mounted slightly higher than the mega ducer. They operate on different frequencies so interference shouldn't be an issue. This is how I mounted my mega ducer on my step hull. I have a DI unit I intend to use as a dedicated mapping unit but just haven't gotten around to installing. I will mount that transducer on the opposite side of the transom. My biggest issue is finding room at the console for a 2nd graph without losing my windshield. Name: 20180224_113251.jpg

I would only mount the transducer from your new unit. It will have both DI and SI.
