I’d go with humminbird electronics. I like my side imaging at the console and down imaging at the trolling motor. If you ever think you might move to minn Kota trolling motors definitely go with a networkable bird. I just played around with my new ultrex link and helix 9 yesterday and was blown away. Right now I have a garmin si unit at the console but plan to put a humminbird there as funds allow so I can network both units and the tm. Good luck with your search.

Since you’re not getting many responses let me be a bit more specific. I’d go with helix 10 sI g3n at the console. $1500 or so. Helix 9 di at the bow. About 1000 if both are g3n. With a hub and network cables you are a bit over your limit, but that’s my dream setup. Once I get the 10 sI at the console I’ll be in business.

Lowrance gen2-3-Carbon-Live and the Ti series would link to your xi5 with a gateway cable and a starter nema kit,if you wanted to unlock the full potential of your trolling motor.

All electronics are good, best thing is go to a store where they have them on display and play with them and ask questions of the sales staff. After you do that then you can decide which system you like best.

Garmin UHD 93sv at console and Garmin UHD 73cv up front. That should be about $1700

Based on the way you fish crappie, I concur Hummingbird would be the best for you. Why mega side and down imaging is so good and the option to add mega 360 down the road. Talk to Brian at BBG Marine for some G3N Helix's. To save a few bucks 9" at the bow and a 10" at the console. When you can do it add mega 360. 12" screens would be nice but adds cost and for some of us space prohibits

Said the heck with it and blew my budget. Lowrance 9ti2 at console. Lowrance 9 ti2 at bow connected to Lowrance XI5 10" Garmin with livescope at bow. Probably learn how to use it all by 2022.

Then they will all be obsolete and time for new ones.
Crappie bite twice a day. 15 minutes before I get there and 10 minutes after I leave.
