    Default Livescope question.

Does anything hook up to nmea port on. 93sv plus uhd if you only use it in a portable application. A cable comes from the black box but it doesn't go to the nmea port on the 93sv. I figure since I am not linking to any other units I don't need to have anything connected. The garmin instructions are terrible.

I don't understand your question. You don't need to use the NMEA connector for Livescope. It is for if you have something extra on a network backbone that needs it, like a heading sensor, or engine data. By "black box", I assume you mean the GLS10 live scope box, which connects to the 93 at the Panoptix network connector, using the supplied cable.

Think I have mine configured properly. It is just that the manual has no good info on how to hook it up. Pages of stuff like waypoints and navigating. Active captain on 93sv doesn't seem to do much. Helm would be nice. Might have gotten a different unit if I had it to do over.
