    Default Interference Question

I have humminbird solix 10 on dash. I have an old garmin 73 sv echomap laying around can I mount it on transom to use for maps or will I still get interference? Thanks for the help!

I doubt it - as long as the 73 is not transmitting sonar pings on the same/close frequency as the 'bird. Are you installing a transducer with the 73? If not, you're probably good to go.

May need to check Garmin Manuel but I suspect like bird and lowrance you can go into menus and turn off sonar. That way you can use it just for maps. The GPS is built into head unit so it will still receive your location.
