Default Trouble with Helix 7 Chirp

After running for a few hours our depth finder will cut off. Typically if you unplug it for a few seconds it will start back up, but sometimes it takes a few minutes. The unit is pretty warm when this happens too. Has anyone experienced anything like this? I'm wondering if it's possibly a low voltage issue.

That would be my guess, too. I suggest you set Digital Readouts to boxes (page 10 of manual), and set one Readout to voltage. See what you're getting. You have to change user mode to "Custom" to do this. Read the manual if not clear. HTH

Thanks, I’ll give that a try.
