I would think so. I don't know about the MK chargers but I do know you can do it on the Pro Mariner chargers.
If you have 2 batteries hooked up in parallel aren't you already (in a sense) doing it anyway?
I just purchased a deep cycle battery that has 195 AH to run all my electronics along with a Minn Kota MK210 battery charger that charges two batteries at the same time. The charger puts out 5 amps to each battery. I wonder if I can hook up both sets of charging leads to one battery to get 10 volts of charge at one time into the new battery and not hurt anything.
I may be getting older but I refuse to grow up.

I would not do it unless someone in a technical capacity at MK said it was ok. You could smoke it.
Curious about the battery you bought, 195 Ah sounds like a heck of a lot to me.

Your only going to get max 5 amps out of each lead. It will not double to 10. Plus you have the chance of the circuits fighting each other and it might not perform at all or burn something up. Just tape up leads on one side and let it go. I have a 2 bank dual pro and one of their tech guys told me to do it that way.

Be careful!
Go for it.
What could go wrong?

5+5=10 but 5 amp output on one set of leads + 5 amp output from another set of leads = 5 amps
I GOT THIS OFF OF THE IBOATS WEBSITE.
I can't find it right now but I've read this same thing on a manufactures website.
this is what it says on website.
Q. Can I connect the charger to only one battery? What do I do with the unused leads or terminals?
A. If you are using a waterproof charger and want to charge 1 battery on a 2 bank charger, you will need to connect both leads on that one battery. If you are charging 1 or 2 batteries with a 3 bank charger, you will need to connect all the leads on the 1 or 2 batteries. At no time should the charger be run without all the leads being connected to a battery(s).
I had a 3 bank charger and was going to use it on 2 batteries. It was 3/15 charger.
Call Minn Kota and ask them, I'd be curious what they have to say.
