    Default Livescope on my TM

Several years ago Rickie helped me, and many others, figure out how to successfully mount a transducer to an Xi5 TM.
It involves splitting a curled air hose and putting the transducer wire inside so it would be curled up and out of the way.
    Its worked flawlessly.
My question is, Would it work on a Livescope unit too?

Id like to remove the existing transducer and mount the livescope with the same setup.
Are there reasons it can't be done?
    Extra wires?
    Super thick wires?

I don't have a livescope yet so i can't see the details of it.

    Thanks

Brett .... if I'm not mistaken, a Livescope Tdx clamps onto the shaft of a trolling motor, therefore it wouldn't work on a trolling motor that deployed thru a collar.

You might want to contact Rickie again & see about getting one of his "da ducer apparatus" setups.

Correction Pappy, Livescope comes with mounting for shaft OR motor. Mine is mounted to the motor on the Port side of the motor. Note* There are certain ways to point the transducer depending on which side of the motor it's mounted. Simply follow the instructions for pointing the transducer.

You can put it on the trolling motor using a couple different ways. I put mine on the tm but the way i fish, structure, docks, laydowns, the boat is still most of the time, it drove me crazy. If you move most of the time then the tm mount may be the ticket. Sitting still the pole mount allows you to scan what ever you a fishing without moving the boat.

I highly recommend Rickie’s Da Ducer and NOT on your trolling motor particularly if you use spot lock. Spot lock keeps you in place and the Da Ducer holds the transducer on the fish.

I MOUNTED MINE ON TM ULTREX BUT IT DO NOT TURN WITH TM ,I MADE A FOOT PEDAL WITH A SWITCH IN IT AND A SMALL MOTOR ON A BRACKET THAT TURN DUCER TO LEFT IF ILEAN PEDAL TO LEFT AND TURN RIGHT WHEN I TURN PEDAL TO RIGHT,HANDS FREE,IT IS NOT HARD BECAUSE WHEN ON SPOTLOCK MY FEET ARE FREE AND MOST TIMES MOVING I SET IT FORWARD BUT WHEN I WANT TO LOOK LEFT OR RIGHT I CAN STILL TURN IT WITH OTHER FOOT OR HAND,BEST SET UP I SEEN THUS FAR,THAT IS FOR MY USE,CAN GO BY ROW OF DOCKS TROLLING AND NOT SLOW DOWN AND LOOK UNDER EACH
