I would call minn kota or replace battery in remote at least, hopefully someone with more nolage will chime in.
This morning while I was setting up to pull crank baits my trolling motor shut off on its owne, I pressed the propeller button on the remote and it started working again. then when I press the pedal to raise the tm I didn't hear it release so I stepped on it again and no release sound but was able to pull it up and stoawed. I moved across the lake and the tm stopped on its owne again, only this time on the screan it says no motor found. I pressed the power button on the tm bracket and no green light, the remote saying the same thing no motor found. All of the conections are clean and tight and still no release sound on the tm pedal. Back home now and put battery on charge and have 94% left in the battery. Any suggestions before I take it to the repair shop, naturally it is just out of warrantie.

Check your power leads on plug and on your receptacle.

Replace battery in remote.
Ok guys thanks, the batteries in the remote are only a couple months old and have spares. The funny thing about it shutting down is this morning after removing the side covers to check for a problem in the power button the tm is working just fine. The power button has the green light the remote is operating properly. So what do you check if everything is working, with my luck it will act up again on Mondays fishing trip.

Unfortunately trouble shooting something that is working properly at the moment is next to impossible.

Mine was doing same thing couple of weeks ago. Sometime the motor was gettin power. ( green light ) sometime not. It ended up being the little breaker on top on of one of the batteries. But the push pin never stuck out like its suppose to

Sounds like the switch acknowledging the tm is latched down. That safety switch is probably part of the ckt that makes the motor found. Might be more than one issue.
