Lowrance recommends 50/50 mixture of vinegar and water for the screens of their nontouch units but says to use a 50/50 mixture of alcohol and water for their touch screen units. The screen coatings are different on the two types of units.

The HB manual says water vinegar mix is only recommended. I did a bunch of reading on this just this week. I have been using Krystal Kleenex I think it's called. But now that I own a G2 and a G3, and I
am saving for a Ge Helix 12, I wanted to make sure I was not damaging my screens.
