93 is for fresh water 94 salt water. I’m starting with 93sv with standard transducer. Will add live-scope when bank account permits

I have been watching a number of videos showing guys fishing with the new Garmin LiveScope system. I have to admit that it looks appealing!
I have a panfish stick steer and the only transducer I have is transom mounted (and head unit is obviously mounted up front with me.
If I were to upgrade, should I replace the entire setup or simply add an EchoMap Plus w/o transducer and the LiveScope LS32?
If I replace the 798 completely, which would be better, EchoMap Plus 93sv or EchoMap Plus 94sv? Is there that much difference?

Ranger RT 188 (2016)
Mercury 4 stroke 115
Garmin 93sv bow
Garmin 106 live scope & console
Keep the 798 and add Garmin. I have a stick steer and run 998 on rear ducer and helix 7 Si on trolling motor.

Not real shure but I think the Bird you have now does not have as much draw on the Battery The new Helix units get very warm because they eat more power -- Having a transducer mounted on back while running gives you the best results while using the big motor .. I have a stick steering boat with an older small screen Bird on the trolling motor and a helix 7 GPS SI unit for the back while crusing Go Garmin for a new unit
