Thread: Does anyone on here repairs transducer cables?

If you can, lay out the shielding and try to solder it. If not I have wrapped tin foil around the repair nd 1/2 in on either side. Then wrap with tape and seal with liquid electrical tape. On a couple of my first repairs I didn’t do anything and really didn’t notice a difference.

Have you tried calling Garmin. At worst I bet they would swap you out with only a small tax.
