I give it a 4 star rating. I'd give a 5 star if it made all the crappie I find with it bite. Was on crappie like this for 4 days recently and only caught 8, frustrating when you can see them ignore everything you present to them. LOLName: IMG_20190217_101148658.jpg

That will take a lure with artificial intelligence, that can swim over to the crappie, slap it in the face, and snag it in the lips when the crappie opens it mouth to protest such treatment.

Sometimes it just takes a lot of patience or takes making the crappie mad. Years ago, while walking the banks and fishing the roots of the ceder trees that were growing in the water on the edge of the banks at Lake Cleaburne I saw a huge crappie under the roots of one tree. So I dropped a lure in front of him and held it still for five minutes and he ignored it. Then I started swimming it in and out in front of his face, sometimes almost hitting him with it. I thought the worse that would happen was he would swim away. He ignored it. Finally, after over 15 minutes of trying to entice him to hit the jig I bumped him in the face with it. He snapped it in reaction and I caught him.

He measured 16". Don't know how much he weighed since I didn't weigh anything back then.

I have had mine about a month, took a while to get it where i wanted. Had it on the tm first and the way i fish that was not working for me. Ordered a mount to put it on the side of boat and it works will well. That thing will show you more then you can catch. There is a learning curve but i think anyone will love it. The garmin man told me you will see more fish then you can catch and he wasn't lying.

I have been wanting one for a while, but think I will wait until later this year. I jumped on a panoptics early last year and they then came out with Ls. My way of thinking they will cone out with a better version.

I too bought the Panoptix. Still have not used it to its potential. I spider rig and the Panoptix is good for me. If I jig fished a lot I would love the live scope for its ability to separate targets better. Finding schools in open water you cant beat Panoptix, A lot better range.

I love mine! Just my two cents, but if you mount on trolling motor and not on a separate transducer holder to be able to aim in different direction of trolling motor you are wasting a lot of the Livesscope true potentials!
