    Default Humminbird Helix 12 Question


    Are all helix 12 chirp si g2n units "mega" units. I'm looking online at a used unit that has on it "helix 12 chirp si g2n". The seller says it's a mega but it does not say mega. Is it a mega unit? Thanks.

    Would need to confirm it is a G2N model. If so, then it would be MEGA. The prior model (Helix 12 G1) was a Helix 12 CHIRP SI GPS and only had CHIRP 2D capability.

    The serial number tag says "helix 12 chirp si g2n".

    If it is G2N and SI, then it would have to be MEGA. They only had one G2N SI model.

    Thanks a bunch. I was not sure because a lot of stores advertise it as "helix 12 chirp mega si g2n" but the serial number tag left out the "Mega".
