    does anyone know were to get the best prices on new units., checked humming bird factory outlet and it's the same price as bass pro on the unit I'm interested in.

    Humminbird Outlet has nothing to do with Humminbird they are just a retailor like every one else. Hard to beat the service of BBG Marine My Green outdoors once in a while has pretty good deals.

    BBG is a good way to go for sure. Also, keep an eye on Amazon. I scored a NIB Humminbird Helix 9 SI on closeout last year for $625-$650.
