I’d say call HB support! Your question is so specific, I believe that is the reason for no answers here.

Posted this several other places to date no answer - it's driving me crazy!
Been trying to configure the Auto Chart PRO application on my PC for an "On the Water" connection via Ethernet to my system
Using the RJ45>M12/8 interface cable to a 5 port Ethernet switch, connected to the Ethernet switch; Helix 7 G2n, Helix 9 G2N, I-Link, Nema2K backbone
The Ethernet connection is functional and all the devices communicate as expected
I'm not on the water instead in the shop w/ an external GPS puck supplying the shared GPS data to the Helix units, their transducers are connected but not in the water both Helix units are started in the normal mode
"I am having a problem configuring it to operate in "On the Water" aka Live mode via an Ethernet connection. Settings > Tools> NMEA/Ethernet with NMEA turned off. The Ethernet configuration GPS option works as expected, a selection from the GPS sources available, while the SONAR and SONAR SI options do not offer anything in the selection boxes thus no SONAR data available."
I’d say call HB support! Your question is so specific, I believe that is the reason for no answers here.

I’d get it to work on 1 unit before putting it on the network. I’d guess though that in the Ethernet section of the unit the ducer needs set as an option for the laptop. This is all just an educated guess.
Thanks for the suggestion
I agree KISS as in keep it simple to start with
I started with a single Helix directly connected to the PC then tried the other - Same Results
My rather complex Ethernet network is NOT the issue
Humminbird customer service is of no help to date after a few calls and emails
