    Default Terrova Steering Problan

My Terrova will not steer left or right with foot control or remote control. The motor will engage at all speeds with foot control or remote control. Cleaned battery terminals, charged batteries. Checked voltage at control board 27.8 volts d. c. Applied voltage directly to steering motor,it turned left and right..Ordered new board installed new board and it did the same thing. Is there anything else I can check RUDY

Think you Lloakley for quick reply. Unpluged foot control but it did the same,no steer but the main motor works.

Gears Stripped.? Try lifting the motor out of the collar and see if the collar turns or tries to.

My ultrex wouldn't turn with the foot pedal and it was a board in the pedal that had to be replaced. I didn't try the remote.

Did you check the voltage at the wires where it plugs into the motor?

Think you guys for the reply,s I did apply direct voltage to the steering motor by passing the control board. The motor did turn left and right. I checked for voltage coming out of control board going to the steering motor did not have any when applying the foot control or remote control. I think my new board is bad. I will order a new one. Thanks paw paw Rudy
