Default What's wrong with my depth finder

This is a picture from my 587 CI hd di. This is a side by side with 455mhz on the left and 200 MHz on the right. Im having issues with it not showing fish in 200 khz. It's seems to be working fine in the narrower 455. On the right you can see a line across the top at about 3 feet in 200 khz. I can only get it to show fish above that line. I see differences between 88 and 200. I seem to fair better with 83 myself on my lowrance.

I see the same fish on both sides. One has fish id turned on.

What I see is 1 Fish arch (at 5.5ft) in the right pane that is also indicated in the left pane with a Fish ID symbol ...

The diagonal lines are bubbles rising from the lake bottom ...

You might try dropping a large profile bait directly under the xducer and raise Sensitivity to see the comparison in both panes ...

There is also a 2d Sensitivity Offset under the Sonar tab to raise Sensitivity of the 200kHz independent of the 455kHz ...

Are you sure on this unit you can change the sensitivity of the 200khz independent of the 455khz. I believe the settings affect both. I did notice that it looks like it's marking that fish with an arch in the 200 which also baffles me because I have the fish ID set to on.

Sensitivity in the Xpress Menu (1 Menu button press) does indeed change the Sensitivity of both Sonar beams equally ...

The Sensitivity Offset selection (under the Sonar tab) only changes the 455kHz 2d Sensitivity (in the HB DI units) ...

I've never tried Fish ID in the Sonar Split view ... I'll have the check in my 1197 ...
