    Default Returning Depth Finder

Hey guys just returned my new Helix Mega 10. The question when returning something do you insured the worth of the item. I insure my Helix ten for $1800.00. It cost me $40.00 to shipped it back. After paying this much for it don't want to take any changes of something going wrong with the shipment. What everyone thoughts on this.

When I sent a $1300 finder back to Scheels I called them about it. They said dont worry about it. They were excellent regarding the return.

Not sure about somewhere else though

I send my back to Humminbird. The thing I was concern with if the Postal services lost it or harm it some way.

If unit is still under warranty. Humminbird should pay shipping. They have every time I had to ship one. back.

Call Humminbird customer service. They will email you a shipping label if the unit is still under warranty.

I sent two transducers back for an exchange and I insured them in case they were lost in the mail. Insured for the price of the same ones if I had to replace them. Just to add. Never have lost or had damaged anything I have insured.
