    Default Helix Mega 9 SI RC-2 remote


    Anyone know if it can be programmed to take screenshots? Thinking about getting one. My head unit is at the bow but I can see it from where I drive.

    I don’t think you can program it. Have to press button for screen shots manually. Why would you want to have programmable screen shots anyhow. A I is not going to do my thinking for me!

    The remote is programmable. Doug Vahrenberg shows how to program the RC1 in this video; RC2 should work the same- only difference between the two remotes is the RC1 includes the bluetooth adapter for pre-bluetooth models. I don't see where screen shot is an option in his tutorial. Sonar recording is an option. He's also working on a Helix Gen 1 from two years ago. Might be available on a new update.
