There are some here that use 360 but maybe not with the exact unit in question in the OP ...

So you're 2nd posted question should get some replies ...

I watched some videos of Doug V with the 360. one video he was trolling for white bass and when he found a school he stop and cast for them. but he was doing a full sweep. my thoughts was to do like a 60 degree sweep out the front while trolling and see a school of crappie or white bass and troll past it or thru it.

Seems like the detail would be lower especially depending on your speed. I imagine that most it would take time to get used to reading fish for your way of fishing.

I watched a crappiemasters show and they were with a team that was running 360 while spider rigging (I believe they were using Helix 12). They showed how you could see your baits out in front of the boat so pretty darn good detail to do that. The bigger the screen the better for detail I’d say.

I used the 360 with an 998.I really liked that combo.now I use 360 with onix 10.I like that also.I wouldn't want to go back to the 998 after using the bigger screen, but the 998/360 worked pretty good.
