Are the 2 units sharing waypoints? .... wondering if they are seeing each other on the network. Does the 1199 have the most recent software?
Does it see the 2D transducer from the 1199 in the network config?

Maybe try connecting the 2 units directly to each other to see if they see each other that way ..... resetting defaults is a good idea ....

It sounds like an Ethernet cable or the AS ETH 5XPG is not letting the units see the transom xducer ...
Bob has good advice of connecting just 2 components with 1 Ethernet cable to try and narrow down which data travel route is not allowing "data travel".
