    I have recently purchased the Garmin 73SV and am not happy at all with the DI. How do I tell which transducer I have? I was hoping maybe I just needed to tweak my settings.

    It should say on the screen which transducer you have.

    At one time people were saying a gray one was CV and the black was GT. Don't know if that holds water or not. If there is no tag to ID it, then the on-screen data may be the only sure way to know. GT52HW or CV52 HW. btw take a look at ztkirkpatric post about Garmin crappie shots. Those are dv and 2d pics with a CV ducer. They look pretty darn good from here..
