Default New blue tooth ulterra opinions

Looking at the new and supposedly improved Ulterra 24v 80# non Ilink . Looking for real owner reviews. I watched all there was on YouTube and searched CDC but it seems that most information is on the old model. My main liked features would be good spot lock, power deploy and stow, record a track, and I assume the adapter cable on my Power Drive V 2 will work with my Lowrance x100C. Thanks

MK screwed a lot of people with the "old model" as you call it. I didn't have mine a year when MK came out with the "new and improved" model. Mine can't be upgraded. I called MK about this matter. They told me to sell mine and buy the new one. I can't repeat my answer to them here. Let's just say I was brash.

I know what you're saying a buddy has the old terrova. I have a Power drive V2 on the bow now but use my Vantage on the back mostly for power deploy and stow. My back is pretty much shot.

What really peeps me off is the fact that I waited about 3-4 months before I could get delivery on it. I like the unit, but if one was being developed, there was not a whisper, only crickets about the new model coming out. MK knew this. It was a 1 year to obsolescence model @ 2000 dolla a gotya. Chaps my tootsie.

I have a new one and I have had no problems with it. One note though while I was restringing my rods the other day i was in the boat with the spot lock engaged. You are only good for 30 minutes unless you hit a button. it times out after 30 minutes.
