Never connect electronics to the trolling motor batteries. You are more likely to get a surge from the TM than the big motor and interference can be a major problem from the TM.
Which battery is best to hookup the humminbird 10 si mega? I'm running 24 volt trolling motor and 12 volt cranking. If I go off one of the trolling motor batteries will the difference in draw between the two have much effect on them as a pair? If I go off the cranking battery will there be cause of concern for a surge during cranking? Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
