Will a hook7 DI unit work will the installed transducer on the Xi5???
Will the hook7 Di work with the installed transducer on the Xi5 motor guide trolling motor? Thinking of purchasing the Xi5 and wasn't wanting to change to HDS unit.

I may be wrong but lookin at the specs the Xi5 has a built in transducer 83/200khz and my hook7 has a
83/200/455/800 .
Would this mean it would work but no down imaging ???
Not wanting to spend big $$$$ and have to rig the cables.

Normally the transducers that are built-in on TMs are 2D only.
If you want DI or SI you have to use some apparatus to mount the supplied transducer to the TM or a separate mount like the one on Podunk Ideas website called the da'ducer.

If you use the XI5 Transducer you wont have DI, and you will need to purchase the adapter cable.
