    Default HB Helix 10 so kvd software update


    SUCKS!!! I installed the new software update yesterday. It messed up my unit. It locked up one time today and the left side of the side image is very dark. Is there anything I can do?

    Did you Restore Defaults after the update ... ??

    If yes (and you still have the issue) = call HB and have them send you the original software version that came on your unit ...

    And turn Sharpness Off in that SI Enhance "Menu" overlay ... it is reported to cause gremlins ...

    I did restore the factory defaults after it locked up today. I will try the sharpness off and see what it does. I talked to HB before I loaded the new software and they assured me it would NOT affect my unit in any negative way. Thanks Rickie

    Ricki is right SI Enhance is causing your issue they are going to come out with an update to fix this issue. Some have claimed having sharpness turned on is the main cause not the Enhance menu itself. Might want to try turning off sharpness and see if it eliminates the problem and still have SI enhance still open.

    Well guys I talked with HB today. There is no going back to original software. I have to carry my unit to them to check it.
