Default HB 798C SI and Minn Kota Endura Max problem

Just bought the trolling motor last week. I have my transducer mounted to the motor with a worm clamp. Since I rent jon boats at the public lakes in my area, this is the best option available to me.

Using this setup, I get electrical interference on the side scan anytime I apply power to the motor. The DI and sonar don't seem to be affected, but the SI is basically useless when the motor active.

I am wondering outside of a different mount for the ducer, is there some other way to alleviate the interference?

That is very helpful. Should have went there first. Time to do some diagnostics

As it turns out, the "digital maximize" feature of the Endura Max motors do indeed give interference to the SI beams. This is not a problem for DI and Sonar.

Having said that, this TM is amazing. You can troll as slow as .1 MPH with this mounted on a Jon boat. Wide open, it pushes a 14' boat 4.7 MPH
