    Ok, that is nice that you have that in Arkansas. I don't think we have maps like that in Alabama? Once you download the gpx files, have you tried saving them on the Garmin? Once you connect it to the computer, it will show up as an external drive. You can copy the gpx files directly to the gps. If that doesn't work, Easy GPS will work. It converts gps files to the correct file for your gps.

    I saved just a few locations from lake overcup just north of conway,it goes to a program called basecamp,its a program for the garmin Ive got Easy GPS downloaded trying to learn how to use it.

    Ill check that out, (On land of course) may need that function sometimes (I pray that never happens)

    Check out Garmins' Etrex Touch 35 or the less expensive Etrex 20x Both are great units

    I bought the Garmin Etrex -10,its a good unit but will only store 1000 way points but for me thats a lot.If any one figures out how to copy and paste a list of coordunates into basecamp at one time please let me know either from google earth, or where ever. im having trouble in that area. but its a learning curve for me...

    you most likely will never use 1000 way points .they will rot out faster than that . I lived on enid for 14 years and fished almost daily . Never had over 88 way points .

    The inverse of Eagle1 is that I have over 6000 waypoints on my home lake. All valid and useful on different days, and times of the year.
