    Default helix10

I just replaced my 788 on the bow with a helix 10. I have it connected to the 998 at the console via an Ethernet. They are sharing waypoints and tracks, but not sharing the navionics card that is in the 998. Is that working the way it is supposed to? Is there a way to have them share the navionics? Will the inter-connect that I had between the 998 and 788 work?

RICKIE OR SOMEONE WILL LET YOU KNOW FOR SURE BUT DON'T THINK THAT YOU CAN SHARE MAP,YOU CAN'T ON 998 AND DON'T THINK HELIX NEITHER

If I'm not mistake, the Onix series is the only ones that can share map data.

that would be disappointing, my 788 and 998 did share map with inter-connect. So if that is not the case, the only way to get full map detail on the helix is to put the sd card up there. I guess that's not a big deal, would rather have the good map detail at the console anyway

I have two helix units and that is correct, they do not share map data. I bought a map card for each unit.

I guess that gives me the excuse to buy the lakemaster card, then I can compare it to the navionics in the other unit

I think you will find that having access to both Navionics and LakeMaster mapping will be very advantageous ...

On my home lakes of Ky and Barkley lakes ...::

*There are certain places on my lakes that Navionics is more accurate ...
*There are certain places on my lakes that LakeMaster is more accurate ...

Having both gives me the best mapping tools available ...
    ------

The guys above are correct ... Only ONIX can share mapping ...
