I have a 998 about 14 mos. Old...networked to a 112 terrova link...the depth will read correct for a short period of time, then be off by about 40 ft..I did a default..same thing..transducer looks to be mounted correctly..every other function seems to be fine..

Are you using the US2 in the Terrova or only the HDSI with the 998 ...??

Rickie, this is the one I was asking you about a couple of weeks ago. 998 at console, running HDSI on transom, networked to IPilot Link motor. Depth will come on and be right, start using troller and depth will go crazy. Nothing else on finder screen changes, just the depth number read out. No interference on screen, bottom does not move up or down.

With the xducer on the transom - this seems like it must be power related RFI ...

Is there a common onboard charger that the RFI could be back feeding thru ... ??
