Default Turn off Lowrance ducer ?

    I have a hds9 and elite 7 TI.
I only want 1 transducer on at a time
How do you shut them down without turning off?
    FYI
    stop sonar doesn't do it
    Standby setting doesn't do it

Only going to demo mode turns it off,
    Suggestions?

If your referring to side scan that would require a separate switch on the yellow wake up wire. For the 2d I dont believe you can shut them off, other than pulling the cable out of the back of the unit. Hopefully someone will be along to tell us how its done.

Are you trying to use one td for both units? If so you can go into the network settings and select which source you want for sonar. It will work with HDS units, I don't know about the new TI units.

I'm trying to use separate ducers on both.
For instance, I see a good spot on helm /hds9 unit.
Want to fish it by moving to the front using the TI (trolling motor)
To avoid interference and wear and tear on my HDS ducer, I'd like to turn it off but not have to reboot the unit when it's time stop using the TI.
So when I go back and forth between units, I want to turn off the unnecessary transducer

    Thanks

On the touch9 putting it in standby or using "stop sonar" will turn it off.

    I'll give it a try
Neither of those stop the transducer on the TI

brettw, not sure I understand what you are trying to do, but I have one unit with 2 transducers(front and back). I had a hst-wsbl on the back and a hdi skimmer on the front and switched back and forth using a SB 9BL relay switch. I now have a HDIskimmer at each end of the boat and can switch back and forth as needed. Lowrance customer service should be able to help. Mine works great......crappie1133

    GOT IT!
    Here's the story

    On both hds and TI
All frequencies must be stopped individually
The standby just saves power by turning the screen to a screen saver.

    Thanks to all

I was just going to say you have to stop sonar in each menu. Very annoying feature, why can't they just make "stop sonar" stop the darn sonar!
