    Default Servo transducer rig

This was before Side Scan became the "in thing". I used a 555 timer circuit to generate the RC pulse to control the servo and linked the servo arm via model airplane linkage to a mounted transducer. View how I did it on this link.

Thanks Tom. This is sort of in the line with my (non original) idea of monting a transducer looking forward mounted just above the TM motor. The idea is to be able to "look into" a stick-up as you approach it. I have an older Bottom Line 2D unit I am going to try this with to verify the feasibility.

I need something like that to "auto level" my transducer.......The list of the boat varies depending on who is in the boat and whether I have my kicker installed or not.

You can do the same thing with a lawn mower throttle cable. I just like to complicate things cause I can.
