Default Lowrance X102 with MG Tour TM?

I purchased a used X102 and at a local boat shop found the adapter (part # MLOW07) Motor Guide specifies I need to use the transducer in the MG 109 Tour TM.

I am looking at the pin-out of the FF and the three pins in the adapter appear to be numbers 1, 6 & 5, which according to a pin-out I have are xdcr+, gnd (xdcr), and xdcr - .

The information I have says this adapter should also do Temp which on the pin-out is pin 4. Is my information about this adapter provides the Temp wrong or am I reading the pin-out wrong?

    Thanks

I will answer this question myself. After a long email from Mercury after they got my email that I sent to Motorguide which they forwarded. They did not spec a wire be added to the adapter for the temp function because it would not work with ALL Lowrance FFers. So I will be running the wire down the shaft of the TM. Phooey.

Here is the mounting I am going to use. I can not take credit for the mount as it was like that when I purchased it. The original owner modified the transom mount for the transducer to fit the TM.

Here it is attached to the TM. I will secure the cable using zip-ties and tape leaving a loop around the joint of the lower and upper shaft.

I still have some clean up to do on the TM.
