No one I know of removes any wiring to charge
Is it ok to leave your trolling motor wiring, your electronic fish finder, and your engine starter wiring hooked to the batteries while you are charging them? I would like to so I can not always be taking everything off and on, but didn't know if this would short the wiring or mess up the batteries or the charger.
Thanks.

I think MK recommends unplugging their powerdrive models prior to charging...cause power stays on the control board all the time May not ever be a problem, but only takes a second to unplug it....

I unplug my TM, remove my DF/FFs and I have a cut off switch on my starter battery.
It probably does not do much, but I can guarantee that my TM and/or my DF/FF will not be harmed by a run away battery charger.
If I am going to error I plan to do so on the side of caution.
