    Default HB Helix interference problem?

I've had my Helix SI/GPS unit installed for several weeks but just not got to try it out. I noticed there was lots of what looks like interference or something on the screen. Not sure if It's a sensitivity setting I need to tweek or something to clean the pictures up? Hoping someone has some advice? The transducer is mounted on the transom and mounted exactly the way the manual states to mount it. I get the interference whether running the outboard or not. I'm also getting the interference without any other electronics on. I tried to tweek the setttings on the water with no luck to clean up the picture. Looking for any suggestions? I attached my screenshots, not sure how to turn the picture around?

That looks like a plankton bloom ...

Did you happen to see any green yukky stuff floating around the water's edge at the boat ramp ... ??
