Default Battery charging for Terrova I-pilot

I have used the search and tried to look everywhere on the site but can't seem to find the answer to a question I have with my new Terrova w/ipilot.....seems I remember someone saying that you should disconnect the TM from the battery when charging? Its not that big of a deal on my TM battery because I only have the TM connected to it but I am also using the built in ducer and it is hooked up to my cranking battery along with all my other stuff. I guess I have a couple of questions 1. Is it correct that I need to disconnect the cables from TM before charging the battery and 2. Do I also need to do the same thing for my other battery that has ducer wires connected?

Not with the Terrova, think the issue was with the PowerDrive and it was more that it would run the batteries down if left plugged up, the PD does not cut completely off when stowed and the Terrova does.

Thank you sir....I was really having a hard time figuring out why it would be necessary. I have only used it a couple times but thought over the long haul it could become a pain having to do that every time. Thats what I get for remembering tid bits of information that have absolutely no relevance to what I have!!
