    Sorry Gene ...

I do not have a cross section view or an X-ray of the XNT 9 DI T ...

I can only assume the round 2d piezo is in the wide front of the housing ...and the single DI piezo would have to be directly behind it and extending to the tail of the housing ...

And I have nothing to show where the wires would be attached to the piezoes ...

If anyone here at CDC works in X-ray (and has access to a XNT 9 DI T) ...

We sure would like to see an X-ray of this xducer ...

Here is the cross section and the X-ray of the XHS 9 HDSI 180 T that Gene mentions...

I would think that the DI piezo would be configured 90° to the way the SI piezos are aligned.

The sound pulse emission in a rectangular "Bar type" piezo travels 90° away from the length of the piezo ...

Below is a depiction of the top view looking down ...

Interesting, Rickie..... do you have similar pick with a side view looking forward or back? Also why are 2 piezos required if sound pulses are shaped as shown?? (not much confused)
I DO MY BEST PROOFREADING RIGHT AFTER I HIT THE "SUBMIT" BUTON
