I need help with lowrance elite 5 dsi/ Minn Kota Terrova ipilot w us2
Hello Sorry if this has been asked before. I have an Lowrance elite 5 dsi, I just got a minn kota terrova ipilot with us2 built into it. If I buy the adapter cable that goes in between the two, will it work at all. what i have been reading these two wont work together. I hope it does dont want to run my dsi transducer on my motor. Thanks for any help. Jason

Uhhhh NO .... it won't work !! An Elite 5DSI does not have 2d sonar ... it's a DOWN SCAN only !! It has no 2d features/capabilities.
You would have to have a HDI unit or a HDS unit, and they still would only show the 2d sonar image through a us2.

Thinking about the elite 5 chirp sonar\gps model now. I have all the stuff for my dsi. Like ram mount and cover that I could use on chirp one I think. Anybody using one of these
