    Default Garmin up front overkill


    guys
    this story is a long one , too long.
    but somewhere along the way I've got. A spare garmin 840xs on my hands.
    so, here she goes
    should be a heck of a show with baby chirp Tm150 on the trolling motor

    That goes on the garage door to keep his wife from snooping around. At least that's what I do with mine.

    PS,
    is it detrimental to leave the ducer cable just all coiled up like that.
    Will it produce interference?

    I've coiled them up like that before while ice fishing and my current bow unit...never had a problem

    Any coils in the xducer cable is not as important as how close the xducer cable is to the TM cable ...

    Get it as far away from the TM cables as possible (and this includes the TM wiring hidden under the deck from the plug back to the battery) ...
