    Default Transducer Protection

What do you recommend for transducer protection. Ripped three of them off today going over a stump. Is the Stump Jumper any good. Able to straighten two of the bases and glue one back together so ready to go back on the water. Was idling on Mark Twain. Boat lifted up over stump and when cleared boat came down, pushed all three transducers up.

Nothing against the Transducer Shield, but I just couldn't see that much money in it! An old discarded "No Parking" sign, my Dremmel, Die Grinder, $16.00 worth of stainless steel bolts, nuts, and nylon spacers from Lowes, and 2 hrs of my time

Nice job pop n cork. Unlike your design the one I bought from transducer shield has a spring plate and when something is hit mine kicks up and then back into position. Also one must evaluate what there spare time cost or means to them.
