    Default Garmin , Lowrance , same Nmea network?


    How much data is shared with garmin and Lowrance fish finders on the same Nmea 2000 network.
    Waypoints?
    Gps?
    Images?

    Well, they state 2000, but each manufacturer has a proprietary network with is akin to, but not necessarily a true NMEA certified network structure. Most devices that are truly NMEA certified compliant should work on the NMEA2000 buss.

    Here is a compliant list. Manufacturers are a bunch of blow hards about NMEA compliance.
